You may have noticed that our shop has emptied out seemingly overnight. Many of our bestselling products and some of your favorite collections—like the basiqs, industrials, minimals, and fabriqs—have suddenly disappeared from view and are no longer available for purchase.
The reason is an event we never thought would happen: on November 30th, a major fire broke out in the production facility of our long-standing manufacturing partner, destroying large sections of the production halls and the entire warehouse, including the products we had in storage (see press report)
What does this mean for us and you?
Since the full extent of the fire is still unclear, we don't yet know when we'll be able to resume production. For this reason, all products from the affected manufacturing partner are temporarily unavailable for order in our store, for an indefinite period. With heavy hearts, we're unable to offer you many of your favorite products right now.
What happens next?
We know this exceptional situation is disappointing for you and difficult for everyone affected. That's why we're working intensely right now with our manufacturing partner to find the fastest possible solution, and we're committed to making your favorite mokebo furniture pieces from the basiqs, minimals, industrials, and fabriqs collections available to you again soon.
